DT Dijkstra’s new paddle blades, developed for use in drum washers, can certainly be deemed innovations. These paddle blades were recently mounted in an existing DT Dijkstra drum washer at Schaap Holland in Biddinghuizen. Potatoes can now be even more intensively cleaned in DT Dijkstra’s washing machines.
The paddle blades cause the product to roll over more frequently and, as a result, the washing result is better, without the product becoming damaged. Another plus point is that very dirty crops can be washed in a lower water level. Or in other words: capacity increases, the produce is even cleaner and less water is consumed – which is good for the environment.
