Before processing the product, clods and stones must be removed as completely as possible. In addition, it should be optimally washed to obtain a high-quality end product. DT Dijkstra offers solutions tailored to the application.
DT Dijkstra washers can be equipped in combination with destoning or floating particle removal units, mounted directly on the drum washer or as separate modules. In addition to wet cleaning, a large number of dry cleaning modules are available, which are placed before the wet cleaning process.
Optimally customised
Depending on the performance requirements, a standard configuration of 5 to 80 tonnes per hour per line is available. Within this range, the drum diameter varies from 1 to 2 meters and the drum length from 3 to 8 meters. The drum is offered in cylindrical, hexagonal and octagonal shapes with different hole patterns or slatted bottom (especially for carrots). The well-thought-out design of the different drum shape and base allows for optimal cleaning intensity for each individual product and circumstance.
Clever, easy-to-use software
The machines are delivered with autonomous HMI control. The clear touchscreen control enables quick and easy setup of all machine functions. The software is equipped with pre-programmed setup programs with which different degrees of soiling of the product can be easily set.
