Great processing line
Distinctive in the complex processing lines, which is what D. T. Dijkstra wants to be. The company Franzen Landbouw in Dirksland chose a system of D. T. Dijkstra for that reason. The company specializes in growing and processing of potatoes, onions and carrots. In the newly built storage and processing area has been chosen for a complete washing potatoes and carrots. In the (high capacity) washer the most innovative techniques are used.
Effective cleaning
Thus is achieved a highly effective cleaning of the product with a minimum of water. Before entering the installation the clods and stones will be separated from the product stream. For potatoes, the installation is provided with a drying system with felt cloths. The washed product is therefore clean and dry to be further processed. Harnessing the highest achievable capacity is an important requirement for manufacturing companies. That includes Franzen Landbouw. Therefore, the washing line is provided with an exchange system. This makes it possible to wash separate breed or batches without too much loss of time during the washing process.
Potatoes and Onions
Franzen Landbouw chose a Grading machine to sort potatoes and onions. The sorted product flows via declining conveyors in the bunkers. From the bunkers the product goes to the roller inspection table and thendirectly into the bulk container or leaves the company through the packaging line.
